Nature Blu's Biography
Nature Blu is a native of Baltimore, Md. She was born on July 4th. She started her
career at the age of 7 months when she won 2nd place in a baby pageant and was
featured in Spotlight Magazine. At age four, Nature began playing drums at a local
church where her father was the Pastor. It wasn't long after it became very clear
to her that playing drums and entertaining was her passion and that God blessed
her with anincredlble gift.
Atthe age of five she appeared on a T.V. show called "The Romper Room", which
was a popular children's show. She also had the opportunity to work with Blair
Underwood, who is a famous actor, doing commercials. She was a contestant in a
pageant held by Blair Underwood's mother. Nature was also given the opportunity
of playing the character Dorothy in the stage rendition of "The Wiz".
During most of her teenage years Nature toured the East as a Solo Artist. Nature
appeared in a video with the popular vocal group "New
Edition" featuring Bobby Brown for the song "Cool It Now",
which held the number one spot on BET and was viewed on
many other popular music television stations. Nature was
seen by millions of people.
Nature's most recent accomplishments have been recording
her new Blues album entitled "Here Am I", produced by
multi platinum engineer Fred Shaw and the SugarBees of
Bradleyhousemusic.com. The new CD has been getting great reviews and lots of
airplay. "Nature's Blues" is currently number 36 in Cash Box magazine's Road
House Blues and Boogie, after only a few weeks of being released. "Nature's
Blues", written by Nature herself, is one of the many songs on her newest CD.
The album was co-produced by her life partner Jeff Hall. Jeff has a very extensive
musical background being one of the lead singers of Bill Pinkney's Original Drifters,
the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers for over 15 years. Jeff currently travels and sings
with Nature and helps with the management of her career.
Nature has performed on stage with many artists such as the Winans, Bill
Pinkney's Original Drifters, Charlie Thomas and The SugarBees just to name a few.
Nature Blu is available for any event large or small. She travels either with a full
six member band or will perform using sound tracks, which allows her to be
flexible on prices. Her band is fully self contained with P.A. and lights that will
